Catholic Super offers you:
  • Death Only
  • Death & Total & Permanent Disability (TPD) and
  • Income Protection

The amount of cover you have and the cost will vary depending on:

  • Type of cover
  • Waiting periods you select
  • Your age and
  • Your employment status

NOTE: Different conditions apply if you are an Employer Sponsored or Personal Plan member



Employer Sponsored Members (Your employer makes super contributions for you)

Unless you tell us otherwise, you will automatically receive:

  • 2 units of Death & TPD and
  • Up to 17 units of Income Protection cover (depending on your salary)

NOTE: If you do not tell us your salary, you will automatically receive 5 units of Income Protection cover

Personal Plan Members (You do not have super contributions made for you by an employer)

Catholic Super offers you:

  • Death Only
  • Death & TPD and
  • Income Protection (conditions apply)
Personal Plan members do not automatically receive cover. Cover will be allocated upon application and acceptance by the insurer.



Transfer of existing cover

Both Employer Sponsored and Personal Plan members may be eligible to transfer existing Death, TPD and/or Income Protection insurance cover either from current employer sponsored super arrangements or individual insurance policy to Catholic Super. To transfer your cover please complete the Insurance Transfer form.

Important Information

Catholic Super's Income Protection options allow you to vary the cost of your cover when you choose different:

  • Waiting periods and
  • Benefit payment periods
