Catholic Super's free seminar program is designed to keep you informed about your super and help you plan for a financially secure future.

  
We run seminars throughout the year, ranging from general superannuation topics to tailored retirement planning and pension seminars.

2010 Retirement Seminar Program

Have you given any thought to retirement? It’s a time most of us look forward to particularly if we have the financial security to make the most of it.

Financial security gives us the opportunity to enjoy our longer lives with friends and family and pursue our interests, free from anxiety about finances.

Each session will cover the following:

  • Retirement goals and budget
  • The effect of tax on your retirement plans
  • Tax free super and pension payments after age 60
  • Transition to retirement strategy
  • Explanation of account based pensions
  • Details of the Age Pension
  • Importance of estate planning
  • Catholic Financial Services and what they can do for you
If you’ve started thinking about retirement, we encourage you to attend one of these free seminars. We expect each seminar to run for 90 minutes. Partners and friends are very welcome to attend.

Catholic Super's free seminar program is designed to keep you informed about your super so that you can plan for a financially secure future. By the time you retire, your super could be one of your biggest assets.

Each session will run for approximately an hour and cover the following:

  • how to access super while still working
  • tax-free super payouts from age 60
  • Merger update
  • Catholic Super's financial planning services and other benefits
  • your questions answered

  • Update on changes to the Age Pension
